A Little About Me
Hi, I'm Connor Cargill, a Software Developer with a Master's Degree in Computer Science specialising in Machine Learning and Object Oriented Design with a longstanding passion in Web technologies.
As my development and degree moved forward I began applying more Object Oriented methodologies to my projects, including the Model View Controller with third party frameworks such as MVC based Laravel. The use of such frameworks and methodologies, along with the completion of my Masters Degree, helped me to secure my first Professional Web Development Role in Nottingham for a company working on there SaaS platform integrating E-Commerce API's including Shopify, Magento and Netsuite on behalf of major clients including Gymshark and Huel.
As I continue moving forward, I am exploring the development of Python-based and .NET based website platforms as an alternative to PHP with the aim of rounding my understanding and experience in the sector.
After a while I had a growing interest from business in building my own websites and decided to give it a go as a full time freelancer, working one and one with clients instead of through a middle man meant I really got to know the clients business interests and needs first hand enabling me to give a personal touch and go the extra mile for each project.
This website contains my ideas and client projects which have been developed over previous years during my time at university and my career. Each post contains a link to project source code, where applicable, for you to Download at your own convenience.
If you have any questions or are interested in working with me, then please do head over to the contact section and fill out the form or you can reach me using the social media links at the bottom of the page.
